NAWABSHAH, July 1: A man and a woman were shot dead in the name of honour in a village near Qazi Ahmed on Sunday.

According to police, Umeed Ali Zardari killed his aunt Ameena, 34, and a villager, Sajjan Zardari, in Badruddin Zardari village.

Umeed later surrendered himself to police and said he had killed the two because they had illicit relations.

SHO Eidan Siyal of the Qazi Ahmed police station said the two bodies were handed over to relatives after post-mortem.
